"We love Roma. They have a nice selection of fresh and frozen meats, sausages, etc, and lots of other tasty looking things. The staff are always helpful if we have questions. Last time we were in we were looking for their Angry Tuscan sausage, and it turned out they were making it right then, so we got it hot off the presses (so to speak). We appreciate that Roma is women owned and operated."

"Those who know me know I don’t give out 5 Stars casually. Really, 4 Stars is an excellent review from this food curmudgeon. Bennett and his staff most definitely deserve all five. We parked right across the street. Not too long out of the truck I commented “I wish I could take a picture of this aroma!” Truly mouth-watering. Someone was obviously smoking pastrami; and from across the street I knew what I was having for lunch! On the menu, it manifested as a Pastrami Reuben. An excellent sandwich, indeed. Grilled to perfection on tasty bread with just enough grease to let you know it was cooked properly. Yes, grease is a good thing here. I thoroughly enjoyed a bowl of French Onion soup. Lovely. The bread in it was excellently paired with the onions and cheese. Served in the classic FO soup bowl that makes it impossible to finish it all. I turned to chugging it late in the game. Hopefully no one was watching… I didn’t dive deep into the beer list. Honestly, I’m not sure it is deep enough TO dive. But, the Hell’s Lager I had was cold and crisp and in no way interfered w my lunch. Just as a lager should be. Our server, Heidi, was spot on. Treated us like family, sarcastic wit included. Everything was clean and orderly. Located in an antique home w Roma’s Butchery. Reviewed separately. I am trying to dream up an excuse for a quick return!"

"This place is great! Roma has some good quality meat, but also lots of other great products. I wasn’t expecting them to have delicious baked goods, but they do! It’s definitely worth stopping by to see what The day’s offers are. I’m. Definitely going back for some donuts and sausages asap!"

"One of the best butcher shops in Vermont! It is amazing in freshness, quality, and fair prices. I highly recommend the “Boss” bacon. I would avoid the “Village Butcher Shop” since the prices are targeting the tourists."

"They started out small, just a butcher shop. Now they do AMAZING lunches from 11-3. They might seem pricy, but for all local ingredients (some from their own farm!), its worth every penny. Just had my first lunch today. Roast beef and kimchee, side of their own baked beans. It was nothing less than amazing."
